Use Loss Carry Forwards

Preliminary Remarks

Losses from seven business years preceding the tax period may be deducted from net profits for the tax period to the extent that the losses could not be taken into account from calculating taxable net profits for these years.

This general rule suffers an exception in the case of an asset deal, in which case the buyer cannot assume and carry forward the seller's losses.
